SIMPLY DIVING TEAMS UP WITH ENVIRONMENTAL FOUNDATION
SIMPLY DIVING Costa del Sol has become southern Spain’s first and only Official Partner of the Project AWARE Foundation, the dive industry’s leading non-profit environmental organization.
Working in 175 countries, Project AWARE was set up almost two decades ago to combat challenges facing the underwater world and to promote aquatic conservation.
And by joining its ranks, Simply Diving hopes to show its total commitment to raising awareness of the plight of the Costa del Sol’s underwater realm.
The Torremolinos and Fuengirola based PADI 5 Star IDC Resort is now committed to making a donation to Project AWARE every time they certify someone as a PADI diver.

Says dive centre manager Simon Bell: “The sea is not just our playground. If us divers don’t do our bit, however small, there will soon be nothing left for us to marvel at.
“When scuba diving in Spain with Simply Diving, especially by taking one of our PADI courses, divers can be safe in the knowledge they’ll be doing their bit too!”
A Project AWARE Foundation spokesman adds: “The Official Partner programme helps dive centres and resorts to provide dive experiences that enhance visitor awareness, appreciation and understanding of the local aquatic environment as well as show a commitment to its conservation.
“We look forward to having Simply Diving as an Official Partner in 2008 and thank them for their involvement.”
