PADI Tec 40 Diver

PADI Tec 40 Diver

Price: €399,00

If you’re interested in those deeper reefs and wrecks that are out of bounds to most recreational divers, then you’ll want to think about enrolling in the PADI Tec 40 course.

It’s the first of three sub-courses of the full PADI Tec Deep Diver course and consists of four dives.

You’ll then be able to credit your PADI Tec 40 course training towards the PADI Tec 45 and PADI Tec 50 courses.

Course Description

Course Description

During the course, you will use basic tec diving equipment to help you start enhancing your ability to deal with tec diving challenges and conditions. You will use decompression software and dive computers to plan and make decompression dives with no more than ten minutes of total decompression and not deeper than 40 metres.

You will also use a single cylinder of decompression gas with up to 50 percent oxygen (EANx50) to add conservatism to the required decompression.

The dives for the Tec 40 Diver training will be made at some of the best sites the Costa del Sol has to offer while using either a DPV or boat.

Course Materials

You will use the Tec Deep Diver Crew Pack, which introduces you to tec diving terminology, emergency procedures, decompression and stage cylinder handling and gas planning.

The Crew Pack includes a manual, dive planning checklist and dive planning slate and will be required for the PADI Tec 45 and PADI Tec 50 courses.

Please note: All course prices include complete rental from our range of the latest and most modern Scubapro diving equipment; transportation to and from the dive sites in one of our air-conditioned mini-buses or by RIB boat; plus PADI certification on successful completion of your course.

Extras: Educational materials such as PADI Crewpacks and manuals (required reading for most courses) and diving equipment can be purchased from the Simply Diving shop. Please email dive@simplydiving.com to confirm prices.
