PADI Open Water Diver
One of our most popular courses, the PADI Open Water Diver courseis your first full scuba diving certification and the perfect way to begin your underwater adventure.
At Simply Diving, this course is completed over 3 days, with sessions available daily at 9:00am or 2:00pm.
OnDays 1 and 2, you will complete your confined water training from the bay near our Dive Centre, including 5 confined water dives. On Day 3, you will head out on our RIB boat to complete your 4 open water dives and finish your certification.
Once certified, you will be able to dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres anywhere in the world.

Once you complete your 3 Adventure Dives, you will earn the PADI Adventure Diver certification. These dives may also count towards your full PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification if you decide to continue your training.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
Completed your Open Water Diver course and ready to take the next step? The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to build your confidence, improve your diving skills, and introduce you to new types of diving.
Over 2 days, you will complete 5 Adventure Dives, including Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation, plus 3 additional specialty dives. These may include options such as buoyancy, wreck diving, boat diving, or other dives depending on conditions and availability.
The course starts daily at either 9:00am or 2:00pm, and PADI eLearning is required before starting your practical training.
On completion, divers aged15+will be certified to dive to a maximum depth of 30 metres. Divers aged 12–14 will earn the Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification, with a maximum depth of 21 metres. Divers aged 10–11can complete the Junior Adventure Diver certification, with a maximum depth of 12 metres.
